They promise the moon, saying they'll give you all the essentials. They guarantee to boost performance and roll out the features you want. But once you hand over your cash, it's like you don't exist. This has been the case for years now. Even the most basic functions are a mess. They still haven't delivered on simple changes they initially said they'd make. If keeping your customers is important to you, I highly recommend steering clear of this tool.

However, once you've paid, they completely disregard you. This has been going on for years. Even basic features don't work properly. They still haven't fulfilled simple change requests that they initially promised to implement. I strongly advise against using this tool if you want to retain your customers.

Just a heads up, I've been getting some pretty raunchy emails from a company that says it's FreshDesk. I know for sure this is a scam since they always throw in a link to click and confirm an order I never made. Just to be clear, I’ve never registered for any site that deals with adult content.

"Sudden Block on Our Twitter Access by Freshdesk"
Freshdesk has made the call to stop supporting Twitter as a customer service option, all because of some shifts in Twitter's API. They pointed to costs and staffing as the main reasons behind this move.
Back in February, they shot out an email to let customers know that changes might be on the horizon for Twitter support. They hinted at possibly turning it into a paid service and asked folks to fill out a survey to see how many would be interested. But since that time, we haven’t heard a peep about it, and our Twitter channel was still running just fine.
Then, on June 1st, we got hit with a message saying our Twitter account was locked out, maybe due to a username or password change. We were prompted to reauthorize the integration. The next day, June 2nd, we got an email saying that Twitter services were going to be cut off. But the email actually stated that the services had already been stopped as of June 1st.
This poor communication has left us unable to use a big part of our support channels, making me seriously think about looking into other options.

Freshdesk has decided to discontinue support for Twitter as a customer service channel due to changes in Twitter's API services. They cited costs and labor as the reasons for this decision.
In February, they sent an email to customers informing them that there might be changes in the future regarding Twitter support. They mentioned the possibility of offering it as a paid service and asked users to fill out a survey to gauge interest. However, since then, there has been no further communication about this matter and our Twitter channel continued to function normally.
On June 1st, we encountered a message stating that our Twitter account was inaccessible, possibly due to a change in username or password. We were asked to reauthorize the integration. Then, on June 2nd, we received an email stating that Twitter services were going to be discontinued. However, the actual email body mentioned that the services had already been discontinued as of June 1st.
This lack of communication, which has essentially blocked us from using half of our support channels, has made me seriously consider exploring other solutions.

"Unauthorized Charge by Freshdesk: A Fraudulent Experience"
I’ve had a really frustrating experience with Freshdesk, as they charged my card without my permission. They market themselves as a helpdesk software, but when it comes to getting a refund, they’ve been totally useless. Honestly, I’d call them a scam site because they keep sending me the same old generic emails saying they’re looking into it, but nothing ever changes. I’m planning to start a chargeback with my credit card company, and I’d definitely recommend steering clear of their services if you’re thinking about it.

"Avoid Freshdesk at All Costs"
We've been using Freshdesk for a few years now, and honestly, the software is just okay at best. The customer support, though? It's downright awful, maybe the worst I've ever dealt with. We made the decision to cancel our subscription and set an end date with them for October. Even after several requests to stop the charges, they kept billing us until February. They finally stopped, but now we're stuck trying to get our money back for the charges that shouldn't have happened. We've looped in four different Freshdesk employees in our emails, but it's been nearly two months with hardly any response. Sometimes we get a message saying they're looking into it, but then it goes quiet again.
I really can't recommend them. Sure, they might be one of the cheaper options out there, but the features are lacking and the support is just terrible (which is pretty ironic for a service that's supposed to be all about customer care).
